Agriturismo Corte Cariano

Cariano Court is situated in one of the oldest short horseshoe of Valpolicella Classica, historic crossroads between Verona and Lake Garda. Until 1900, the stone pavement which made ​​its entirety was used as a drying surface for seeds, which the ancients sharecroppers then resold to local dealers. The farm has three units unique and original, different in size, furnishings and colors, but all with exposed beams and wooden floors, rooms and cozy spaces marked by thick walls made ​​of stone arches and steps follow each other, drawing the identity of each room. The focus on the particular has inspired the recent restoration, carried out with strict respect for the original material and the atmosphere. The furnishings are the subject of a detailed research that, excluding work series, allowed the recovery of old family furniture next to radiators sought in local markets, reinterpreted by a restoration cared for by the same owners. Court Cariano keeps warm a family with which he was born: the smells, the sounds and colors of Venetian culture outline a framework to live in the beautiful vineyards that surround the house.
